Viniplast is made by pressing or extrusion. Viniplast sheets are used in the manufacture of elements operating in aggressive environments, equipment cladding and many other areas. Operating temperature range from 0°C to 60°C. Cooling down to -50°С with loss of plastic properties is acceptable. Viniplast is easily welded and glued with adhesive based on PVC and organic solvents. In the range from 20°C to 80°C, it has pronounced bielectric properties, it is highly electrified during friction. Very resistant to acids and alkalis - sulfuric acid 40% concentration up to 60°C, nitric acid 50% concentration up to 50°C, vitriol oil up to 20°C, a mixture of nitric and sulfuric acids, exhaust gases (hydrogen chloride and chlorine mixed with air and water vapor), acetic acid 100% concentration, formic acid up to 50% concentration, ammonia, bleach, hydrogen peroxide 10% concentration, concentrated permanganate solution, salt solution of all kinds, ozone, acidic and alkaline wastewater, hydrofluoric acid up to 40% at 20°C. The sheets are not resistant to aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons, ketones, esters and concentrated nitric acid. When processing sheets, an electrostatic charge may occur. Does not withstand exposure to nitric acid, organic solvents. |
