The production holding "Kingisepp Machine-Building Plant" carries out any types of repairs (including capital ones) and service maintenance of all modifications of D6 and D12 engines (manufactured by Barnaultransmash JSC) with testing on a load stand.

Engines of the D6 and D12 types are four-stroke, high-speed, trunk-type, with direct fuel injection, in-line, six-cylinder (modifications of the D6 diesel engine) and V-shaped with a camber angle of 60° - twelve-cylinder (modifications of the D12 diesel engine). Manufactured with aluminum or cast iron crankcase. Depending on the purpose and conditions of use, diesel engines of dimensions Ch15/18 and ChN15/18 are produced in various modifications, differing from each other in technical characteristics, complete sets of units and components depending on the purpose, their individual components and parts have design differences and different designations.

Diesel engines D6 and D12 are installed on the drive of pumping and compressor stations, on power units for drilling oil wells, excavators, road vehicles, diesel generator stations of alternating and direct current, powerful dump trucks, and are also used on sea and river vessels as auxiliary and main engines for driving the propeller.

Metal fatigue, mechanical loads and exposure to a corrosive environment lead to inevitable wear of engine elements, which leads to serious consequences. The sequence of scheduled repairs (current, medium, major) of a diesel engine allows you to prevent unwanted engine breakdowns, restore its service life and technical condition, and increase its service life.
